Performance - Independent Appraisal

The Regulator may request, under the Tasmanian Electricity Code, that an independent appraiser (formerly known as a regulatory reporter) be engaged by an entity to review the entity's management plans, compliance plan and/or performance report(s).

As part of any review, the independent appraiser will generally be required to report on the adequacy of the management and compliance plans and the veracity of reported performance information.

A guideline for Regulatory Reporting forms the basis of that review.
